APS Festive Lecture

What is the APS Festive Lecture?

The APS Festive Lecture is an annual virtual event organized by the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (APS) that serves as a platform for showcasing the latest developments and future trends in pharmaceutical sciences. The APS Festive Lecture is an informative and forward-looking event that provides valuable knowledge to APS members and non-members and the pharmaceutical science community at large.
To apply for the opportunity to be a speaker at the APS Annual Lecture Series, you must be an APS member. We particularly welcome applications from PhD Researchers and Early Career Researchers.

Please submit the following:

  • Submit a 600 word talk synopsis which describes developments in the pharmaceutical sciences in 2023 and your predictions for future trends in the pharmaceutical sciences in 2024 and beyond.
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2023: In this section, briefly summarise the key highlights, trends, and game-changing developments in pharmaceutical sciences for the year 2023. For example, focus on significant achievements, research breakthroughs, clinical trials, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
  • Future Trends and Predictions in pharmaceutical sciences (2024 and Beyond): In this section, provide insights into the trends and potential impacts that you foresee in pharmaceutical sciences for the year 2024 and up to five years in advance. Base your predictions on current research, emerging technologies, market dynamics, and your expert analysis.
