Fellowship Scheme
Nominations for Fellowships are
invited from all members of the APS, nominees must be members of the
Academy. To help ensure the APS recognises distinguished scientists who are
non-members of the Academy current members are requested to encourage potential
fellows to become members of the APS.
Nominations
Nomination should consist of a C.V. and a 1 page summary of
contribution in fields of:
- Scientific contribution: Work
should be outstanding and ambassadorial in their area with an international
reputation
- Broad scientific awareness
Submission can be by either another
member of the Academy or by self-nomination. All nominations must be supported
by a second Academy member.
Successful applicants will be awarded
their Fellowship at the APS Conference Dinner which is held during the APS
PharmSci Conference in September.
Selection Process
Fellows will be appointed by a Selection committee comprising of:
- A representative of the Academy
Board and current or past Fellows
- Fellowship will be awarded based on
significant contribution in the field of pharmaceutical science
A non refundable application fee of
£50 must accompany an application for FAPS. If you are currently a non-member,
please ensure your annual subscription payment also accompanies your
application. Please refer to the Subscription Rates for the appropriate amount.

Benefits & Duties
All Fellows are recognised through the use of the title Fellow and the use
of the letters FAPS after their name.
